REASON #1: FAILED SUMP PUMP

LEARN MORE: A failed sump pump is one of the primary causes of home flooding. A sump pump can fail for many reasons. Old age, lack of maintenance, an overwhelmed pump, a product defect, and more. Standard pump systems operate off of a single sump pump. Using only one pump is kind of like that saying of "putting all your eggs in one basket" and hoping nothing breaks. With DriBot, the pump system is made up of three pumps. That's triple the redundancy of ordinary pump systems, but DriBot's design is about more than just the redundancy. The triplex pump system has highly-efficient, variable speed pumps. This means that it can pump one, two, or three pumps simultaneously. Keeping up with a light rain might only require the power and speed of one pump. Several days in a row of heavy rain might overwhelm an ordinary pump, but not DriBot. Plus, DriBot offers options for a lifetime warranty that covers components, product defects, and replaces your pumps once their useful life nears expiration.

REASON #2: GROUNDWATER INFILTRATION

LEARN MORE: Groundwater infiltration occurs when the water on the ground seeps into the soil. During times of heavy rain, too much groundwater infiltration could lead to problems for homeowners. As the water seeps into the soil surrounding and underneath your home, it fills the basin that contains your sump pump. Your sump pump then pumps this water away from your home through a discharge pipe to keep the basement dry. If your sump pump is too weak to keep up or you experience a power outage and do not have sufficient backup battery power, the basin will overflow and cause a flood. DriBot is designed to protect against groundwater infiltration with its triplex pump system and dual battery backup capabilities.

REASON #3: FAILED FLOAT SWITCH

LEARN MORE: A failed float switch is a common cause of flooding. A float switch is what signals your sump pump to turn on and off. In standard float switches, a bouyant case "floats" on top of the water in your basin. Once water rises to a set level in the basin, the case tilts upwards, sending a signal to "switch" on the sump pump. When the water level decreases and the case is no longer tilted upwards, the signal is sent to switch off the sump pump. This mechanism can sometimes get stuck or break entirely, causing your sump pump to miss an important signal and stop a flood. With DriBot, extra precautions have been taken to solve this issue. First, DriBot uses what is called an I-Level Transducer to monitor the precise water levels in your sump pit. This is a highly sensitive tool that exceeds even some industrial standards. In addition, DriBot has a dual backup float switch. This provides another two layers of defense against flooding in the rare event that the I-Level Transducer stopped working.

REASON #4: FAILED BATTERY BACKUP

LEARN MORE: Battery backup powered sump pumps are commonly found as an addition to the standard sump pump. If the home experiences a power outage, the backup battery kicks on and allows your sump pump to continue working. However, even this type of backup is sometimes not enough to prevent a flood. Backup batteries do not pump indefinitely and may not be able to support pumping at full-capacity. Most traditional backup batteries are not monitored and can be dead or low when you need them most. DriBot is capable of supporting dual backup batteries that it continuously monitors and tests. If your batteries are low, DriBot will indicate that it is time for a new battery. By having the option for dual backup batteries, you not only have twice the backup pump time, but the batteries are strong enough to pump all three of DriBot's triplex pumps at full-capacity. When power is restored, DriBot will automatically recharge the batteries so they are ready for the next power outage incident.

TRIPLEX PUMP SYSTEM

DriBot has three sump pumps that can operate independently or simultaneously in times of high need. The redundancy of the three pump system is unlike anything else available on the market, making home water damage a problem of the past.

BASIN LEVEL CONTROL

DriBot's extremely sensitive pressure sensor will always know the precise water level of your sump basin. When the water reaches start / stop points, DriBot will automatically start / stop your sump pumps, keeping your home dry.

POWER MONITORING

DriBot will notify you if your home experiences power loss. DriBot provides the option to connect up to two backup batteries that will kick on to keep your sump pumps running smoothly. Then DriBot will alert you when the power is restored.

DUAL BACkUP FLOAT SWITCHES

In the event that the water level pressure sensor would ever fail, the backup float switches can take charge. For peace of mind, the redundancy of DriBot's controls exceeds most industrial and municipal pump control systems. With DriBot, you can trust you have the best protection available.

DUAL BACKUP BATTERIES

Failed backup batteries are one leading cause of home flooding. DriBot supports the option to connect up to two, long-lasting, dual backup batteries that are capable of pumping all three sump pumps at full-capacity if needed. *Batteries must be purchased separately.

With its 360-degree motion detector, DriBot knows when you have entered the mechanical room and lights your sump basin for easy viewing through a clear window. The basin lid is sealed for odor and radon protection.

Our DriBot device utilizes cellular technology to text remote alarm notifications to your device. We use a cellular network for several important reasons:

Power outages do not stop DriBot's ability to send you cellular alarm notifications. Even with wide-scale power outages, cellular towers are equipped with backup generators to ensure their networks remain open for communication.
No network configuration is required for setup nor is there network equipment to maintain
Overall, cellular notifications are more reliable than Wi-Fi.
